AIForesee Participates in the 5th ACRN Conference in Bangkok

From February 20 to 21, 2025, AIForesee was invited to participate in the 5th Asia Credit Reporting Network (ACRN) Conference and ACRN Members Meeting held in Bangkok. This event served as an excellent opportunity for stakeholders in the credit reporting industry across Asia to engage in discussions, share experiences, and explore the latest developments in credit scoring and credit reporting. The conference brought together key players in the credit industry across the region to exchange insights and keep abreast of emerging trends. The Asia Credit Reporting Network (ACRN) is an organization dedicated to strengthening the credit reporting industry in the Asian region. As Asia’s economy grows rapidly, the financial services and credit reporting sectors have also seen significant advancement. ACRN plays a crucial role in promoting cross-border collaboration by facilitating the exchange of knowledge on technology, alternative data, and policies related to credit reporting. ACRN’s mission includes introducing best practices in leveraging technology and alternative data to expand credit access to underserved segments. The organization also serves as a source of inspiration and insight for its members to overcome challenges in their credit reporting systems and to help build a healthier, more inclusive credit ecosystem.
The Trend of Using Alternative Data Sources to Enhance Credit Services
One of the key topics highlighted during the conference was the growing interest among credit reporting institutions across Asia in exploring the use of alternative data to enrich their product offerings. At AIForesee, we were proud to share our experience in leveraging alternative data and machine learning algorithms to develop more innovative and inclusive credit scoring solutions.
We also observed that many neighboring countries in Asia have started adopting similar approaches, aiming to provide broader credit access to previously underserved segments. This opens up new opportunities for industry players to better understand market dynamics and respond with technology-driven solutions.
Cross-Border Collaboration in Driving Regulatory and Technological Innovation
This conference was also an incredibly valuable opportunity for us to learn from neighboring countries about their regulatory frameworks and how they collaborate to adopt technological innovations that enhance the credit ecosystem. We were truly inspired by the strong commitment from various countries to share knowledge and experiences in advancing the regional credit sector.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Khun Surapol, Khun Phadet Charoensivakorn, Dr. Luxmon Attapich, and the team from the National Credit Bureau – NCB Thailand for organizing such an outstanding event. We also greatly appreciate the support from Chairman Binh of CIC Vietnam and Mr. Yohanes Arts Abimanyu, former CEO of IdScore and Senior Advisor at ACRN, whose contributions have played a significant role in elevating Indonesia's presence at the regional level.
Looking Ahead Through Cross-Border Collaboration
As part of the Asian Credit Reporting Network (ACRN), AIForesee is increasingly motivated to strengthen cross-border collaboration. This conference provided a valuable opportunity to engage in discussions with companies from across Asia, including Taiwan, Thailand, Korea, Vietnam, Nepal, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, and Laos. We look forward to continuing to build stronger cross-border partnerships to drive progress in the credit reporting sector across Asia. We believe that through deeper dialogue and closer collaboration, we can collectively develop innovative solutions that expand financial access and create a more inclusive credit system for all.
